LexCorp's CEO Lex Luthor has been elected President of United States during a severe nation-wide
economic depression. Under his leadership, the country is returned to its former glory and a force of
superheroes consisting of Captain Atom, Starfire, Katana, Black Lightning, Power Girl, and Major Force
now work for the betterment of America.

When a meteorite from outer space hits a young California woman named Susan Murphy and turns
her into a giant monster, she is taken to a secret government compound where she meets a ragtag
group of monsters also rounded up over the years.

Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) faces unexpected consequences for his heroic acts and encounters a
reluctant new hero (guest star Deanne Bray). As Claire (Hayden Panettiere) continues to adjust to
college life, she must figure out how to deal with her ability having been revealed. Meanwhile,
Samuel (Robert Knepper) moves heaven and earth to recapture the memories of his late brother
Joseph. Elsewhere, Matt (Greg Grunberg) struggles with his internal demons as Sylar (Zachary

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe pageant was held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau, Bahamas on August 23, 2009.[1][2][3] It was the first time an outgoing queen crowned her successor from the same country:
Stefanía Fernández, Miss Venezuela, was crowned Miss Universe 2009 by outgoing titleholder Dayana Mendoza. 84 countries and territories competed for the title and the pageant was broadcasted live on NBC and Telemundo. On August 22, Jewel Selver representing Turks & Caicos withdrew from the pageant due to illness (dehydration). Only 83 contestants competed in the final on August 23.
