Tv Shows And Series : K-9 Television Series Doctor Who Spinoff

Although this is the actual Doctor Who character K-9 and there are a few references to Doctor Who it is not part of the "canon" of Doctor Who because it is not made by BBC or in partnership with BBC. Weird result of intellectual property ownership, because the character K-9 is not owned by BBC.

Season 1 (2009-2010)
1 "Regeneration"
London, late 21st Century. "The Department" using android police, the "CCPC" control the peace and are the defence force against alien intrusiton. Working on an Alien Space-Time Manipulator Professor Gryffen has unwanted visitors to his Mansion house, a converted old Police Station; first a young rebel called Starkey and his new friend Jorjie, then a group of reptilian aliens. The Jixen. A Strange robot dog follos through the STM and saves the humans under thread by sacrificing himself. However th eboy Starkey triggers a "regeneration" disc and the Robot Dog renews himself completely... the new look K9 is born! Darius, Griffen's artful dodger assistnat informs the CCPC of Starkey's whereabouts and he sis captured and sent to the Department's detention centre. Starkey escapses when a surviving Jixen stalks him. K9 has no memry prior to arrival in the mansion and Gryffen tries to help. Jorjie tells Starkey about Dauntless prison where the Department are holding Aliens as prisoners for sinister experiments!

2. Liberation 10
Starkey goes into to hiding from the Department and the surviving Jixen warrior. Jorjie finds out that the Department has imprisoned innocent aliens, so K-9 and the team break into The Department's prison to set them free.

3 "The Korven"
Starkey is homeless so K-9 and Jorjie try to help. Darius contacts them after the Proffessor, an agoraphobic disappears from the mansion! A warning from the year 2618 is received and K9 and the youngsters are giving chase to a mind sucing alien called The Korven who has snatched Gryffen. K9 detects a trail of Alien Gas and they unite to follow the trail to a deserted ice works where the korven has designs on the Professor's memories and brain pattern! Darius and Jorjie search whils K9 and STarkey investigate the Gas trail. K9's systems become drained and Starkey is captured. With K9 affected by the phosphane gas and Starkey immobilised by the Korven it is up to Darius to show he can be brave!

4 "The Bounty Hunter"
K-9’s past comes back to haunt him, when an alien Bounty Hunter arrives and accuses him of committing a murder in the 50th century.

5 "Sirens of Ceres"
When Jorjie hits one of the robot police with a stone, her mother punishes by sending her to the private school MAGDALENA. But the Department are testing an alien mineral weapon, which they can use to control people in the academy.

6 "Fear Itself"
London is out of control, riots erupt due to a strange irrational fear that fills the air. The focal point of the paranoia is based in an old junkyard where a strange alien consciousness is at work.

7 "The Fall of The House of Gryffen"
Darius, Starkey and Jorjie spend a very spookey evening at Gryffen's mansion.

8 "Jaws of Orthrus"
Inspector Drake is attacked by K-9! June Turner and the Department have orders to capture K-9 and detain him.

9 "Dream-Eaters"
An ancient stone obelisk is unearthed by the Department and an alien force is unleashed that starts inducing everyone to sleep and dream!

10 "The Curse of Anubis"
K-9 meets the Anubians, a race he helped in his long forgotten past.

11 "Oroborus"
K-9 notices a change of behaviour within his group of friends and discovers that time itself is being disrupted.

12 "Alien Avatar"
Starkey takes K-9 fishing to try to make him understand the human pasttime. When there, they find that the fish are all dead. Meanwhile, elsewhere, the alien Medes are trying to make contact. The crew must link these events and find out what on Earth is going on!

13 "Aeolian"
A huge gust is ripping through London and the gang must find the source of it. Eventually, they are led to an Aeolian who is trying to find its partner who was lost after a plantary war.

14 "The Last Oak Tree"
Panic ensues when a museum exhibit is stolen and the team are on the trail of the culprit only to find a giant menace hiding in London's abandoned sewers.

15 "Black Hunger"
The Department is using an experimenttal device that literally eats rubbish!

16 "The Cambridge Spy"
A freak accident engages the STM and Jorjie is taken back in time to November 1963!

17 "Lost Library of UKKO"
Inspector Thorne sets up a trap for K-9 and Starkey is wisked away to a far off planet.

18 "Mutant Copper"
The CCPC's are hunting a rogue officer who has developed a personality and consciousness...

19 "The Custodians"
"Little Green Men" is a new virtual reality game that is sweeping the nation, it is the brainchild of a strange company that has designs on taking over the world.

20 "Taphony and the Time Loop"
Gryffen tries to free a "time being" imprisoned yby tThe De[artment. He was responsible for an experiment that bought the "Time Blank" into being and K9 assists him in his plan. Unfortunately the Blank, in the guise of a girl (Taphony) turns on Gryffen and begins to drain Jorjies life force in an attempt to stabalise her own existance.

21 "Robot Gladiators"
Darius and K9 go undercover to expose a criminal who is using illegal robot technology in what he calls "destruct-ertainment" K9 becomes a gladiator and has to face the evil "pain-maker" in a battle to the death. But what is the sinister secret plan instigated by Thorne? K9 also befriends the other Robot Gladiators who he sees as cybernetic ancestors, basic androids who however have something of a heart and spirit that even touc hes K9's superior consciousness

22 "Mind Snap"
K9 is using th STM to try and rectify his memory loss of events prior to his arrival and regeneration. Gryffen and Starkey discover him linked to the machine which creates a feed-back and K9 loses all control of his memory and programming. He becomes a danger to everyone and starts his self destruct programme!

23 "Angel of The North"
Gryffen is taken by Thorne in a special Virtual Reality encasement suit to the crash site of the "Fallen Angle" the spaceship that the STM was taken from. In the frozen wastes of his native Canada. Gryffen faces his own demons and once again the dreaded Korven. K9 and STarkey try to rescue Gryffen from this most evil of alien menaces. Gryffen finds the STM's missing dimension stabilizer unit with which he can control the STM properly, however it comes with a mystery ...

24 "The Last Precinct"
A vigilante group of former police officers discover that the Department are upgrading the CCPC's with Alien tech and make a stand by holding Gryffen hostage. K9 and Starkey battle the intruders whilst Darius faces up to his past.


25 "Hound of the Korven"
Thorne entices K9 to hand over his regeneration disc in exchange for his missing memory chip. As a double cross the fake chip contains a sequence turning K9 into a bomb! Starkey is taken by an old enemy who has a few surprises for K9 and friends too!

26 "Eclipse of the Korven"
A strange phenomenon occurs in the STM that heralds the imminent arrival of the Korven pandimensional invasion force. Thorne is plotting to help them and has as his back-up a sinister secret weapon that has K9's regeneration dis implanted making it an indestructable. K9 faces his biggest threat ever! Emotions run high and Gryffen and the youngsters face the unknown as their world faces utter destruction!
