Nikon has released an update to the next version 2.2.2 of its solutions for the processing and editing of images - of Nikon Capture NX 2. Using exclusive technology U PointTM by Nikon Capture NX2 software includes many powerful tools and four fully customizable workspaces with the ability to save and switch between them to ensure fast and efficient workflow.

Software Capture NX2 can be used for imaging of JPEG and TIFF any source, as well, according to the developer, it represents the best product for editing Nikon NEF (Nikon Electronic Format - own design firm, a format for storing uncompressed graphics - RAW ).

In Capture NX2 has a rich set of tools, including:
- Color Control Point (Point Color Management) - a management tool tint, brightness and saturation, where changes are made by placing the point of color management on the image, and further adjusting the length of the sliders.
- Selection Control Point (Checkpoint allocation) - the possibility of correction, for example, using a tool Unsharp Mask (Mask blur) or the function D-Lighting to a specific area of the image with one click. There is no need to use precision selection or masks - the identification of areas requiring changes occur automatically.
- Auto Retouch Brush (Brush Auto Touch) - to capture images with greater naturalness, this tool lets you remove specks of dust, obtained in the image when shooting click and brush strokes.
