This class will thoroughly break apart the design and directorial processes of a few selected projects from GMUNK's repertoire, first focusing on the importance of inspirational reference, mood boards, and proper pre-production through previz and storyboards. The session will then examine the technical aspects of the design, editorial, compositing and finishing aspects of each production, giving specific tips and insight into how to optimize your workflow.
The class will finish with a variety of industry musings from a seasoned veteran, and the best ways to stay inspired and engaged through constant research, reference and self-motivated initiative. The session will be fast-paced and content-heavy with a variety of invaluable insight from somebody who's done this a few times.

A&E Networks has begun production on "Stephen King's "Bag of Bones", a four-hour epic mini-series thrill-ride based on the New York Times number one bestselling novel, featuring Pierce Brosnan's return to television. The two-night event from Sony Pictures Television is scheduled to premiere in the fourth quarter of 2011. "Bag of Bones" will also star Anabeth Gish, with additional cast to be announced shortly. Mick Garris is set to direct the Matt Venne penned script, based on The New York Times #1 bestseller by Stephen King. Filming will take place in Nova Scotia, Canada. "Bag of Bones" is the story of grief and lost love's enduring bonds, an innocent child caught in a terrible crossfire and a new love haunted by past secrets. Bestselling novelist Mike Noonan, played by Pierce Brosnan, is unable to stop grieving after the sudden death of his wife Jo.
