The Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series (known in Japan as the Naruto: Narutimate Hero (ＮＡＲＵＴＯ－ナルト－ ナルティメットヒーローシリーズ, Naruto: Narutimetto Hīrō Shirīzu?)) is a trilogy of 3-D fighting games, based on the popular manga and anime series Naruto by Masashi Kishimoto, for the PlayStation 2. They were developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Namco Bandai. The trilogy was followed by two titles based on Naruto Shippūden, which are currently exclusive to Japan, as well as spinoffs for the PlayStation Portable and a follow-up title for the PlayStation 3. There have also been a four Collectible card game-based spinoffs for Namco Bandai's Data Carddass arcade system.
