Bob Windt originally designed this machine as an entry level project for students and enthusiasts
who belonged to the Hoverclub of America, Inc. After watching how practical and well received
this project was, the World Hovecraft Organisation decided to improve the drawings, add
teacher training ideas, and make plans available to students and clubs without charge.
